 Surah Al-Ikhlas Translated in English



قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ

Say, "He is Allāh, [who is] One,


اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ

Allāh, the Eternal Refuge.


لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ

He neither begets nor is born,


وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ

Nor is there to Him any equivalent."

I do know how to pay attention, how to fall down into the grass, how to be idle and blessed, how to stroll through the fields, which is what I have been doing all day.
